Confession Sunday

Oh Father please forgive me for I have PURCHASED AN IPAD 2 in the mist of 2 seconds! Well, I've been contemplating to get an iPad since iSold my first generation. Dumb dumb dumb. I bought a 4th Gen iPod touch and now I'm selling it.

Sometimes I hate when I do compulsive random big purchases, but sometimes I can't help it.

I should HELP it, especially I'm going to NYC in 3 weeks for 1 week and saving up for a hopefully-dream-future-wedding (that savings is still so small -___-)

But I should think the bright side, I'm helping my Bro for some $$$.

Mkay, I feel a little bit better.

oh btw, this is a Link-Up entry. Woo Woo.

moonbeams,

Links I Love Sunday

I can't believe it's Sunday already. *boo* I wish they make it mandatory for 3 day weekends. Life would be so awesome.

Anywhoo, since it's Sunday, I want to share some awesome stuff I found online during the week. Woop.
  • I'm a new follower of this Traveling Nurse blogger. It's one of my dreams to do Travel RN, so by following her journey, hopefully it can convince me to do it.
  • I may be late, but I really want to be BFFs with Todrick Hall. His videos are sooo funny. Of course his Beauty & the Beat Video is a must see. Imagine going to Target and this happens...

  • Since I did that flash mob on July 4th, I've been on youtube just watching mobbers doing their thing. I really, really encourage you to do a Mob once in your lifetime. I joined Flash Mob America (it's free) and they'll inform you on upcoming events. The co-founder, Staci, is so nice. You know she loves what she does. She shed a tear thank us for coming all the way to Huntington Beach, on a holiday, to participate on a flash mob. Love.

  • I love mother Earth. I'm trying my best to be green, but sometimes I forget. I love Polar Bears. And this video made me sad. I really want global warning to stop, because seriously I hate the hot weather. It makes my skin itch and gives me the break-outs. And I hate Car Sauna. Ew.
Imagine if that was you. Roaming around a strange land with people/strangers that destroyed your home due to being irresponsible. I'm trying my best to be more Green. I even donated to the Green Peace. Let's help our mother Earth.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Monday is next. Geez.

Sneaky Sneaky

the Pillow was translating at Church today, and he didn't know that I took this picture (I sat pretty far back with my parents haha). He looks so yum in a suit. I dig men in suit (think Barney Stinson).

As for right now I'm in Panera (this is 2 Sat Nights in a Row!) just browsing for blogs and coming up with an entry for my blogger friend, while Mr. Pillow is catching up with his Law School assignments.

I'm surrounded by chitter chatters and can not help to hear to their conversation. Man, they talk so fast.

So I made faces mimicking their voices. I'm mean, sometimes.

Hope everyone have a great weekend :)

Nursing Link - Up

Browsing around after finishing my Church Bulletin (love doing it but it's a drag), I found 2 bloggers, who are both Nurses (YAY!) and they have a link up specifically for us nurses (and student nurses too). This is rad. Super rad. I love Nursing. I love finding Nursing Bloggers. Holla. You know it.

So for this entry, the topic of the link-up is the Dress Code. Oh dear. First off, my dress code is BOH-RING. Since the mandatory switch-a-roo (which rumor has it, it's gonna be eliminated) for my department (Inteventional Radiology), I have to use the OR scrubs. It's not like the fun green ones above, it's the nasty PJ like, ugly dead sky blue. It's so boring. I look really weird in it. The size are never true to the label (an S can be an M, vice versa), and I always look like I'm drowning in scrubs. The only way to spice it up is with fun shoes and a surgical cap. And my big glasses. Hah.

Most of my other regular scrubs are from a variety of brands, Koi to Dickies to UA. For shoes, I prefer my Crocs clogs or this fine hot pink ones that I got from Goodwill.

Other accessories are my Badge holder (currently a blinged-up Green Bay Packers) and my Baby-G watch in Teal. Oh and some fun hair ties. Haha. Oh and can't forget pens. Lots of them. Especially since my IR docs like to jack up my pens. I even had one of them swear to me to bring me some cute Korean pens while he's over there.

I would love to see other nurses on what they wear. Gotta love nursing.

For non-nurse readers, sorry. haha... gotta spread the love.
