Experiment Time: Hokkaido Milk Bread

I've been obsessed with this bread for some quite time. Well, I'm Asian... So I was raised with Asian bread: soft, milky with a hint of sweetness.

So after googling around and going crazy, this is my third attempt on making these special bread.

Dear Pillow aka Rob, thanks for being my rock when I was crumbling down last week. My mini getaway with you helped a lot. You calmed me down and made me realized that bad things will pass. Happy Birthday too. I will miss you while you're gone for 3 weeks.

Dear God, thanks for guiding and protecting me thru the hard times. I know You won't let your people down. Thank you for sending Rob in my life. You always know what's best for your people. You rock. Well, literally You are my Rock.

Dear Stumble Upon, you're my new addiction when I'm waiting or bored.

Dear Obama, I hope you did this dance after celebrating your win.

Dear Washington & Colorado... So with MJ/THC/Weed being legal, are you guys gonna pull an Amsterdam and have like MJ Cafes where I can have a slice of Happy Brownies? jk. I don't even know how much an ounce of weed is.

Dear Self, maybe you shouldn't discuss weddings yet with Mother before you're engaged. She gets too ahead of herself.

Dear Readers, thank you so much for your kind words during my "down" time going thru rough patches. I'm doing okay and everything is back to normal. You are all awesome.

Dear East Coast... Hang in there. I know it's soooo hard for you folks out there... I pray every night for those people who don't have power or heat, esp with the snow storm that's roaming around the East. I hope you do find warmth.

Happy Birthday :) Today you are 28. I thank God for having you in my life for the past 4+ years. You are an amazing person and such a true blessing for me. I'm glad that we get to celebrate your birthday earlier this week with accomplishing the awesome Color Run. And yes, we've been celebrating the past 3 birthdays of yours in San Diego. It just happens to be that way.

San Diego will always be our place. Well, New York first then San Diego haha.

This birthday will be a special one because you're finally going home. I hope this birthday will be a great one for you, my love. I wish I could've joined you, but I'll let you embrace and enjoy the moments that you will spend with your family. You deserve it.

1. Do you prefer salty food or sweet treats?

SWEETSSSS. Hence I can't lose weight. Duh.

2. If the world ends tomorrow, what would you choose to do with the rest of your time?

Pray. Then go all out on a food binge, and cuddle with the Pillow and Chimmy all the way through.

3. Would you rather have to sit through a porno movie with your parents or catch a glimpse of your parents doing it? (Haha, I can't help it, I had to do this question. I know, I'm being juvenile. Lol.)

Good Lawd. How about watching Porn. I know the Awkward would be SOOOOOOOO HIGH but it's better than seeing them CITA. Hurl.

4. Do you have any regrets in life so far? What is it?My regret would be probably not saving up enough money from the past. Man, if only I started saving up some $$$ from like 10 years ago, I would probably be traveling around by now
5. If you could speak another language other than the ones you can now, what would it be? Why?Japanese. JAPANESE. JAPANESE! Because it's just so damn awesome.

6. Are you a morning person, or an evening person?Afternoon person. I know, I'm not answering your question, Gab. 

7. Growing up, did you have a favorite cartoon? What was it?Sailor Moon. I think most of you guys would probably know by now. Read my guest post on Niken's blog.

8. You see a $20 bill on the street. Do you:

• Pick it up and keep it
• Ask at least 3 people around, then take it?
• Ask at least 3 people around and feel sad when someone actually claims it?
• Give it to a homeless person

9. What's your most favorite car?

Mini Cooper. I know sexy time would be hard, but dank that car is just sexy to me.

10. What made you start blogging?

To express my thoughts and emotions. I'm not really good on doing that verbally (I get literally too emotional to the point I might cry). And I just like sharing. Sharing is Caring.

11. What kind of music do you like best?

Coffee Shop/Singer-Songwriter works best for me any given day. Pop on an easy day. French Accordion when baking. Punk Rock/Alternative/Emo when driving on the freeway. 70s Folk/Pop during procedures at work. COLDPLAY ALL DAY ERR DAY.
