Hi Bunnies. I'm currently in Harlem, enjoying God's love through to a different ethnic SDA Church. It's so cool to go to another ethnicity church. It opens my eyes to another side of praising and worshiping God.
I know I rarely blog about religion, but I'm a Seventh Day Adventist. That's what I was raise as and I believe in.
Anyways, hopefully all of you are doin awesome. Sorry if my blog is been lagging. It's hard to blog while you're in vacation... Especially in New York City.
Feel free to follow me via instagram @bolubyrima where I post tons of pictures of my trip.
I'm planning to post a NYC guide (in a jokingly point of view) when I come back to SoCal. Woo.
Love ya all. Thanks to my 2 blogger Bff's, Alex & Evani, for the guest posts! Please go and check them out! (unfortunately it's hard to create links and all on the Blogger Mobile app hehe)
xoxo, Rima
Btw I did a guest post on my cool indo friend's blog, Niken. Awesome.

Guest Post: Louise Amabilis
Hello again. While I'm roaming around the Big Apple in the heat, my friend from Sunny San Diego, Alex from Louise Amabilis has something to share. Thank you for having time to do this girl. I wanna make a teal one and make a huge hair pin/bow out of it. Wooooo. Sound like a legit plan.
If you love vintage or styles from the 40s - 60s, please go visit her blog... or her pinterest. I'm an avid fan :) She also posts about her 2 adorable sons, Ford and Cash (How awesome is that? Super cool names!) who are goofballs in their own little kiddy way (I want to hug both of them). She loves Cookie Butter (who doesn't) and we both share the same love for Bangs. Yes. Bang girls reunite.

Hi! My name is Alex and I blog over on Louise Amabilis,
today I'm here filling in for Rima while she's letting out all her wonderful craziness
in the Big Apple! (lucky girl!) I'm going to share a super simple DIY with you guys
on how to make that pretty flower you see above, I hope some of you might try it out,
it's pretty much fail proof!
So here it goes:
1. Supplies needed: some scraps of fabric, needle, thread, scissors, glue (not shown) and some buttons
2. Fold the edge of your fabric and cut a straight line that curves at the end, when unfolded your shape should look like this
3. Make 8 of these
4. Put your white school glue around the edges of your shapes and rub it all over with your fingers, make sure you get the edges good this will prevent fraying and the middle will get stiffer and hold it's shape once rubbed in let them dry for 5 min.
5. They will still be sticky so place them between 2 pieces of scrap fabric and iron until dry and somewhat stiff
6. Slightly trim the edges
7. With needle and thread gather the flat bottom edge of the petal and keep going into the next one until all are attached to the same thread
8. Pull them all the way onto the thread until you have 4 petals in a circle then spiral them up so that 4 petals are on top as well
9. Hand stitch the center of the flower so that all petals stay in place
10. Cut 2 circles out of your left over fabric the large one will go on the bottom of the flower, the small one will go in the top center
11.Cut 4 little V's out of the smaller circle to make an X
12.Glue it in the center of the flower (for attaching the circle and V I would recommend a hot glue gun for a stronger hold)
13.Hand stitch the buttons on top of the X (I put 2 different color buttons on top of each other)
14.Glue the larger circle to the bottom of your flower
And there you have it!
You made your very own flower : )
Now you can attach it to a hair clip, safety pin, hairband, purse you name it!
You could also make several of these in different sizes to attach to a throw pillow or even a dress.
If you have any questions just let me know and I'll be glad to help you out!
xo

Guest Post: Simply Evani
Well... While I'm on my plane heading to the Big Apple while listening to that infamous Jay Z & Alicia Keys song (can we all sing in unison, "IN NEEEWWWW YYYOOOORRRKKK..."), here I present to you one of my Bloggie BFF, Evani of Simply Evani. She's gonna share to you some advice on something I'm not very good at: Current Fashion. Lol. Yes, I'm not that Fashion Frenzy, as I must say. I think I only shop for clothes if I need to. You can catch me in the same jeans with a different top at any given day. Maybe it's because I use scrubs from Monday - Friday. So by the time I hit weekends, I'm just confused on what to wear. Oh well. I'm confusing myself just talking about it. I usually just shop a thrifts and H&M, F21 or Macy's for special occasions. Woop.

Hi there! I'm Evani and I blog over at Simply Evani. I was crazy excited when Rima asked me to guest post on her wonderful blog because 1. I completely adore her and 2. She's headed to NYC which is on my bucket list! I thought it'd be really fun to do a style post on summer NYC style, in honor of her fab trip.
So I've heard New York can be quite humid in the summer so I opted for light pieces but a cardigan for when the stores are blasting the a/c. Going from flats to heels can take this outfit from day to night, especially if you throw in a sexy leather jacket at night. The crossbody is a good size to hold close to your body in the subway, while the clutch is perfect for a night out! And I've heard it will occasionally rain, so I threw in a cute umbrella just for good measure.
I mean I watch a lot of Gossip Girl so my expectations could be unreasonably high but how fun would this outfit be in NYC?
Over at Simply Evani, I will blog about anything under the sun whether it be a cupcake recipe, crafty DIY or styles I'm crushing. I'm guilty of loving Disneyland way more than any adult should and consider myself a total social media addict. Much like Rima, I LOVE the Backstreet Boys, I have a BF named Rob and have a soft spot for Channing Tatum (Can I get an amen?!). I hope you come check me out, I promise to try and be cool.
Thanks for having me Rima!! You rock my socks.
------
After reading this, now I have an idea on what to pack (ok... not really. haha. I'm confused). Thanks to Evani for having time to post this. She rulez.
