Chimmy's Corner
Folks, this is Chimmy and I have a doggy dilemma. My fur. MY FUR. IT'S WAAAAY TOO SHORT!!! GrandPa took me to the groomer this week and Ms. Groomer butchered my beautiful fur. MY SEXY MANE! It felt like I lost my mojo. I don't look fierce at all, I feel naked.
I look like weird looking Deer, but I do feel super light! I probably lost 5 lbs!
See this was me before the evil haircut. I look very sexy here. Unlike Mum who dyes or cuts her hair when she is bored or depressed, I like my hair long because it brings out the sexiness in me. Getting a haircut makes me sad and depress :(
Yet I am thankful that my family still loves me the way I am. I still act the same, I still bark whenever I see a bird in the backyard and my fart smells the same *sniffs butt to confirm*. I am thankful that my family still gives me hugs and kisses despite me looking like a weird Fox. It's just fur, right? It will grow :)
Ok, Mum is gonna read me a story from this book.
Have a good weekend!

Chimmy

Chimmy's Corner
Oh hey there people. It's been a long time since Mum let me express my wuff feelings on her blog. She's been selfish *licks paws*
While she was busy working, traveling the world and baking, I just lay around all day... sleeping underneath G-Ma's bed, snuggling with my little pink porky.
While Mum is busy doing things, I like to just guard G-Ma's room, just being my lazy old butt, by the door, farting around until G-Ma gets mad.
Sometimes I like to pose with G-Ma, who's a slight camera whore. She likes posing in the grass with me, of course, after I pee and rub my wee-wee clean all over her jeans without her knowing.
Also, I like to listen to G-Ma and Great G-Ma gossiping. My opinions count, you know.
G-Ma loves the computer, especially her Facebook, sometimes more than me... So to distract her, I just go close to her and fart on her until she gets really mad and I just smile. This is my not guilty face.
Then when Mum is around and just lounging on the couch, I like to challenge her on a staring contest. I win all the time. I give her a fierce & intense stare. I see her soul.
Well til then non-furry human. I'm going to continue and lay & fart around my castle.
Doggy Kisses,
Chimmy

Chimmy's Corner
You may not know (or may be know) that Chimmy has a GF named Hawkeye. In a Pomeranian's world, they make a sexy couple.
Princess H just got a haircut lookin' like Chimmy and of course little Ol' Chim got excited and wanted to do some poses for Princess H.
After several takes, he settled with this one...

I'm pretty sure most of you know what the 10 Commandments are from the Bible.
Then I came upon the 10 Dog Commandments. And it's beautiful.

Please read this before you mistreat a dog. Please.
This video below is from The Wildlife Aid Foundation. This poor baby fox cub got his little face stucked in to a rusty can. Seriously people, THROW YOUR TRASH AWAY AND RECYCLE! These people saved him and released him back to his home.
Now, meet Philly. This super cute Brown Pit Bull was hit by a car and was in the sidewalk for 5 hours and was IGNORED by people walking by. Then 3 LAPD officers saw him and decided to rescue him. Apparently, he's chipped and they contacted the owner. The owner said that they can't afford him anymore and told them to put him down.
*mad rima* SHAME ON YOU STUPID OWNER.
The 3 fabulous (literally they are) LAPD girls took him the the Vet ER and he had broken bones, had plastic bottles and weird stuff in his stomach and has a cast now. Poor little man.

Look at that sweet face. He now has 3 awesome Cop mommies and they are raising funds for his treatment. I hope he gets well soon. Gah. Love his face.

Chimmy's Corner
I had a epiphany.
Every Friday night, after work, I like to relax in my bed and browse around the webs watching videos about dogs/animal rescues. I like to watch videos like these because they some what in a way lift my spirit up and think about how awesome God is. That there are still humane people out there.
Also, since I personally experienced a dog (or two) rescue of my own (you can read about them here, here and here), I somehow developed this increase passion on spreading the word on adopting from rescues or shelters, spay & neuter your pets, and saving animals when the opportunity comes (with of course, precautions: Your Safety Comes First!).
So I came up with a new segment that I'm going to start, starting tonight, in honor of my dog, Chimmy, called Chimmy's Corner. I will be sharing videos, sites or articles regarding pets/dogs/cats/other animals... It can be about awareness, charity, fundraising, animal foundations, etc. It can also be stories about pet(s) from cute to funny, even sad ones, or even cherishing a memory of a pet. Or maybe even about animal products such as toys, foods, attire, etc. Even recipes! Anything Animal/Pet related!
I will also feature any bloggers that are interested in talking about their own pet(s) or any animal/pet related posts they want to share :) If interested please don't hesitate to email me at bolubyrima@gmail.com!
So for tonight, I would like to share a story about Buck.
Buck is a dog that was shot (well he had shot burns) to his face and was put in a garbage bag and was tied on to a pole to die slowly. HOW FREAKING CRUEL IS THAT? When a person found him, they called this amazing woman, Tami Augustyn, who proclaims herself as a independent animal rescuer (God bless her BIG heart), and she took this poor dog to an emergency Vet.
Buck was hypothermic, anemic, dehydrated and scared. He collapsed after he walked a couple of feet after he was removed from the garbage bag. I teared up like mad when I watched the video.
To watch the video, click here. I believe that the Year on the video is wrong, because the incident happened this year.
To read a Yahoo article about Buck, click here
Tami started a fundraise facebook page for Buck called Buck needs Bucks for his Buckshot Injuries where people can donate to cover Buck's medical expenses.
I highly recommend checking out the facebook page, and I urge to donate to save this dog.
I just can't imagine how people can be sooooo cruel. SOOOO cruel. Dogs love unconditionally. They are there for you during happy times, they are there for you during sad times. They may not talk back to you, but they are there to listen to you and smother you with kisses, knowing that everything will be fine.
According to Buck's facebook page, he had his optho surgery and is recovering now. I'm keeping him in my prayers. Speedy Recovery, Buck!
Chimmy's Kisses,
Rima

I Feel Loved.
Besides my Brother and my Father, these are the 2 men that God gifted in my life.
After the Sandy Hook tragedy, it made me think about the purpose of my life. Also on how grateful I am to have incredible people in life.
When you think about, it's the small and simple things in life that makes it wonderful.
For Example, the way Chimmy stares at Robert with full loving eyes... FOR ROB'S POPEYE CHICKEN! Homeboy was apparently so hungry that he stared at Rob's hand as he eats this delicious crunchy chicken and puts it in his mouth.
Then Chimmy gets braver. He started to climb on to Rob's lap and takes a sniff of his plate. By this time I told Chim to stop it and took him downstairs to feed him some Popeye's. Homie scarfed the chicken down in 2 minutes. Rob was impressed.
Then today as we sat and watch the Packers-Bears go (GO PACK GO!), Chimmy decides to climb on Rob's lap and prance around him to play with him. Poor Pillow. Or maybe Chimmy just love the fluffiness of Rob aka the Pillow.

Keep the people you love close by. Hug them as much as possible. Tell them you Love them even if they drove you insane that day.
May the victims of Sandy Hook rest in peace. May the Lord showered the families with love and patience and give them eternal strength as they face and deal with Christmas and the future.

All Hail...
to King Chimmy and Miss Ellie.
They bond pretty well, huh?
I think Chimmy is diggin' Ellie's soft trunk. From one furry coat to another.
Happy Hump Day.

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday to my Furry Baby, Chimichanga aka Chimmy aka Boyem.
You are 5 years old now, Son. It means it's been 5 years of you barking, pooping and peeing on the carpet, constant silent farts, rolling around in grass, your classic play dead position, and fur all over my face and clothes.
I love you to pieces and I am glad that you love the Pillow as much as I do, or maybe a little more to him than me.
One thing that Mom ask is to stop barking. Seriously, you sound like a grouchy old man the older you get.
Sincerely,
Rima aka Chimmy's mom

Damn, it's the First already...
As Chimmy mourns for the end of September, I welcome October with open arms. For me it's officially fall... Okay, not really at the moment since Mother (So)California is still PMSing and hates us inhabitants by baking us alive with triple digits degrees.
I do have goals for October, and there are things I look forward to this month. Even though *sigh* that the Pillow is most likely going to be in New Jersey for a whole week next week *sad trombone* but I'm looking forward to my Sisterhood Reunion. Which means... I need to start baking and make those cupcake toppers. One of our sisters, Nia, will celebrate her son's 1st birthday and what couldn't be better than have all sisters all in one place to celebrate the first baby in the family. On top of that, baby Adam aka Kuma-Chan will finally make his debut too for the whole sisters. This will be my first time meeting Nia's son, Cameron. I hope baby Cam won't freak out seeing crazy Aunty Rima.
Well, what's your goal for October? Anything great that you're looking forward for October?
PS: TiLM won't be up this week. To read last week's, click here.

So I decided to juice...
Well since Summer Weather 2012 was being a bitch, my skin has been breaking out (not zit wise but more like Epidermis Catastrophe) to the point I kept on rubbing my Eczema spots with my fingers (I don't wanna scratch! I will bleed to death thru my skins!) or through my masks (I have a spot on my upper lip) while I'm at work (patients would probably think I'm this Psycho Nurse that doesn't shower and has scabies). My whole back neck is all scaly and bumpy (#nasty) and my skin is just not pretty now.
That's when the Mini Angel Rima on my Right side said, "GURL YOU BEST BELIEVE TO START JUICIN' AGAIN, MMHMM!!!" *snap snap* and she disappeared. This was last week.
So I ended up compulsively bought a juicer thru Amazon.com (evil evil). And it arrived today.
It's so handy and easy to clean. I was impressed. After eating really bad (Hi Kimchi Fried Rice) today, I decided to stop by Fresh & Easy and bought some produce to try out my new toy.

Breville Juicer; All my new friends that'll be in my belly |
Since I'm kinda reading the Clean book, I flipped through some recipes of the Juices the author created, I sorta adapted to my own version.
In my YUMMY Green Power Juice, I mixed:
- 2 green apples
- 1 Kiwi
- 1 Lemon (which I regretted later)
- 1 huge stalk of Celery with no leaves
- 1/4 large cucumber, peeled
- 1 handful of spinach
- a couple of mini branches of Parsley
- 1 inch of Ginger (yuck)
I turned on the juicer, the machine went cray. It's loud. You can hear how fast the filter/blade is going. Man, I do NOT want to put my finger in there. Scary.
Awesomely, I juiced in less than 2 minutes. It was awesome.
Then, the scary part. I pictured this when I was about to put my lips on that jar.
But then I remember this.
![]() |
from here |
I'm pretty sure the jar will break itself when it sees Chuck Norris.
So I hit it. Hit it hard. While holding my breath. After my last gulp, I finally breathed and tasted it. YUCK. It was too sour (thanks Mr. Lemon)
But 30 minutes after, I felt like this...
I'm so sleepy now. Wow. Maybe I should drink this every night. Gah.
So I browsed around and found some cool recipes, both from Emma & Elsie from A Beautiful Mess (here and here).
Honestly I'm excited. I wasn't as bad as when I was a kid. I dreaded the morning because my mother would force feed me with her juices. Yuck. I'm excited to feel better and to get rid of this damn eczema.
Anyone have a favorite juice recipe?

a love/hate situation
Chimmy, my beloved pomeranian, has this obsession about buns.
Yes, hamburger buns. Especially the ones from In-N-Out or Arby's. He'll usually eat 1/2 of the burger and 1 bun and will secretly sneak the other bun in to a secret hiding stash and will guard that area until he finish nibbles that one bun. If you try to take it away from him, he will, I mean WILL, attack you.
It's cute, yet annoying. Why? Sometimes he'll bring the bun and hang out in the middle of the way, obstructing the pathway to out. You'll come close by to the area, he'll automatically guards it and starts growling. One point you think it's cute, the other you're like, "WTH, will he bite me?"
I teased him one time, and I literally got bitten and bled. True Story. Never tease a protective dog.
As proof, here's a video of my Dad teasing the Dog to the point he started coughing (poor thing...)
