He loves Barcelona; She loves Paris (Part 4)

Yeaaaa Part 4 of the series... so it continues...

As you can tell on the picture below how "excited" I was to be in the Las Ramblas again... Well not really. Damn sun was in my face.

Btw meet my new BFF, Le Red Coat. The night prior, while we were having dinner in the Maremagnum, I told the Pillz that I desperately needed a coat because the wind is pretty chilly and I checked out Le Paris weather and it's freezing cold. And homeskillet here only packed Sunny SoCal Spring clothes. Womp womp. So we went to Desigual (which is based in Barcelona!) and the Pillow picked this coat for me... Such a deal, I say (from 285 Euros to 80 Euros since it's a Winter line!). So you may see me wearing Le Red Coat A LOT in future posts.

I'm no fashionista, people.

I look like a major tourist.
After reading Mish's post on Barcelona and heard about this place, I begged Pillow, being the foodie I am, to head down to La Boqueria. Mind you, I was squealing like a little girl. It's a market filled with GOODIES. From fruits (!!!) to Catalonian Chocolates (it was delicious!), Seafood, Meat, Fresh Juices... name it. We bought some mangoes and it was so good. We each gulp down some fruit juices that were freshly made that day. And of course we had to have some tapas... our favorite Patatas Bravas.

I look annoyed because I couldn't wait to get in there!

Catalonian Chocolates!!! That cone one that Rob's grabbing was sooo good. #chocporn

Outkast was wrong. Roses don't smell like PooPoo.

Meat anyone?

Spot the gigantic lollipop

Looking at those chilies gave me an ulcer

an angry puppy waiting for his master to finish his coffee in the market. this little man was barking like cray

chocolate, juice, cafe un leche and tapas for breakfast. my stomach was having a partay.
After being high on food, I dragged my poor man to La Sagrada Familia. But first we decided to go to the Arc of Triumf since it was close by, along with the Neptune's Fountain in Parc de la Ciutadella. It was a nice walk to burn them calories.

La Sagrada Familia is just epic. Duder Gaudi is just brillz. This artwork of his just... WOW. You must see for yourself this magnificent building. The details of the building is just insane.

Crazy, huh?

Later on the evening, we decided to go on top off Arena Barcelona which is next door to our hotel and enjoy the view.

You can see the Plaça d'Espanya with the MNAC/Montjuïc in the background.
And of course for dinner we had Tapas and Sangrias and Paellas at Tapas Tapas which was right next to our hotel.

Now I want Sangria. Badly. Anyone know a good one in California?

Til Part 5! Almost Paris!

Rima
